Stagiaire Yara wilde naast alle luxe en comfort van Kaapstad ook stilstaan bij de andere kant van de stad. Ze reisde met de organisatie SAEP af naar township Philippi om een aantal kinderdagopvangcentra te bezoeken.
Vóórdat je op reis gaat naar Zuid-Afrika en je creditcard gaat gebruiken zijn er enkele aandachtspunten die je even door moet nemen.
Yara Beij (21) studeert Media, Informatie & Communicatie in Amsterdam en loopt van augustus 2017 tot februari 2018 stage bij KaapstadMagazine.nl. Volg haar belevenissen vanuit de Moederstad.

‘Wat ga je doen als je afgestudeerd bent?’ een vraag die moeilijk te beantwoorden leek werd vanaf april dit jaar ineens zelfs leuk om te beantwoorden: ik ga terug naar Kaapstad.

Kim doet vrijwilligerswerk in Kaapstad. "Voel de vibe van Zuid-Afrika, laat je verwonderen door het prachtige land en dan heb je vrij weinig nodig!"
