Rock star chef Matt Manning and his talented team at The Chef's Studio in Cape Town will turn you into a kitchen whizz with their new range of tailored cooking classes called How To Cook.
LEARN FROM A PRO: CHEF MATT MANNING
Every month, The Chef's Studio teaches novice cooks and aspiring chefs to prepare and cook two new dishes. Dishes change every month, and each session is made up of a lesson and demonstration, after which you create the dishes yourself.
EVERY MONTH FEATURES DELICIOUS NEW RECIPES
Do you want to learn how to perfectly cook fish? Or are you more of a chocolate-fondant fan? Vegetarians get their turn, too, with dishes such as pumpkin risotto and braised cauliflower with caper-and-raisin purée, chargrilled radish and celery. See what themes are coming up.
ENJOY A MEAL TOGETHER
After the entertaining lesson is done, guests get to sit down and enjoy the meal they created with the rest of the class, sharing their experiences and revelling in their new-found skills. You can buy wine or other drinks from The Chef's Studio's extensive menu.
THE DETAILS
The class costs R350 per person and starts at 6:30pm. All ingredients are included; all you need to bring is a can-do attitude and cash if you’d like to buy a drink (or two). Classes are capped at 20 people to keep them intimate and productive and booking is essential.
