After two sold-out runs, the Nasty Womxn Exhibition returns to Alexander Bar and Cafe, for one week only from 19 August - 24 August 2019.
WHAT IS NASTY WOMXEN?
The show is a sketch collection of contemporary “womxn” going from day to day. Their characters are drawn from the Greek mythologies of Persephone, Medusa and other not so well-known characters. The stories remove these characters from their victim status to break the patriarchal nature of the original myths, and showcase the true power of these womxn.
WHO’S BEHIND IT?
The creators behind this exciting hit, The Furies Co-op, are a group of women creating art and making spaces for work. The group hopes to bring creative women together and empower them by creating spaces to showcase their work and talents.
TICKETS TO NASTY WOMXN AT ALEXANDER BAR
Tickets cost R90pp online, R110pp at the door and can be purchased via the Alexander Bar website.
