The Woodstock Brewery has repurposed its beer vats for soup

It’s Mandela month and Woodstock Brewery needs your help to make food for 10,000 people a day

Learn more about Woodstock Brewery and it's collection of rock n roll beers (plus, you can hire it for an epic party).

---

The Woodstock Brewery has repurposed their beer vats for a greater cause. For the entire month of July, The brewery invites you to cook up a vat of soup and help feed over 10,000 people a day.

MORE THAN JUST 67 MINUTES
It's not Mandela Day but Mandela Month for this iconic Cape Town brewery. Every day until 31 July you are invited to join in and help out in any way possible. All the help is warmly welcomed, including peeling and cutting the vegetables or helping with deliveries.

THE BEER VATS ARE BEING PUT TO GOOD USE
It's all possible thanks to the same vats that make their classic craft beer we love so much. Using these large, efficient and safe brewing pots, they can cook about 7,000 litres of soup a day. Their record so far is 14,000 litres. With this amount of soup, they're able to feed about 16,000 people per day, but only with your help.

WANT TO VOLUNTEER?
You can join the Woodstock Brewery staff any day of the week and cook up your very own bowl of love. Shifts run Monday to Saturday from 10am to 2pm. To get involved you can WhatsApp the brewery directly on 083 407 3972.

You can also help their funding drive and donate online via woodstockbrewery.co.za.
