Every Saturday this summer you get to enjoy The Galileo Open Air Cinema outdoor movies at some of the Western Cape’s most scenic wine estates, showcasing the beautiful backdrops of Stellenbosch, Somerset West, Paarl and Franschhoek.

EXPERIENCE MAGICAL MOVIES IN THE WINELANDS

The Galileo, Cape Town’s beloved outdoor experience now in its 11th year, is screening at a different wine farm (a rotation of 15) in the Western Cape’s most renowned estates, like Laborie Estate, Vredenheim and Neethlingshof Estate.

So come early to explore the venues, like the lush gardens of Leopard’s Leap Family Vineyards and Knorhoek Wine Farm before settling down for a sunset movie. See the full winelands schedule below, and book your ticket on webtickets.co.za/galileo.

ARRIVE EARLY AND ENJOY THE FOOD AND VIBE

Enjoy the vibey music, roaming photo booths and games that are set out on the lawns. There's food and drinks galore, in addition to movie essentials like popcorn, sweet treats, and hot and cold drinks.

EXPLORE STELLENBOSCH, PAARL + MORE

And then snuggle up in your backrest and warm blanket against the backdrop of breathtaking mountain views at Stellenbosch Vineyards, Nederburg Wine Farm, L’Avenir Estate and more.

There are five special screenings this summer, which all feature themed movies. One of these falls on Christmas Eve, which is on a Saturday at a special wine farm. See what movie is on that day in the schedule below.

PROPOSE AT A WINE ESTATE AT THE GALILEO

During your birthday week (Monday and ends on a Sunday), you get free entry, a backrest, and a blanket. Just arrive at the door with your ID and if it’s your birthday week to get in free.

Book: Tickets start from R129 per person, doors open 5pm. Movie starts after sunset. Book your tickets online.
Pensioner Special: Includes picnic movie entry, backrest and blanket, R120 per person. A valid ID needs to be displayed upon entry with your ticket you bought online.
NEW VVIP OFFER: An exclusive ticket option will be available for two couples on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
