“Rock ‘n’ Pop” With The Best of Mitchell’s Plain Music Academy

Take The Stage presents 60 music students live at the V&A Amphitheatre

Want to enjoy live music from up-and-coming talents that’s both fun and free? Don’t miss this opportunity to catch 60 of the best musical talents from Mitchell’s Plain Music Academy, live at the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre on 9 November from 7pm to 8.30pm.

A COOL COLLECTION OF TALENT
The stage is set for a summery night of eclectic musical talents. Roughly 60 students and instructors from Tokai, Athlone, Delf, Kraaifontein and Mitchell’s Plain will be taking to the stage from 7pm to 8.30pm to perform their personal take on the night’s theme: “Rock ‘n’ Pop”. Expect to hear original music from local artists and energetic students, fresh from completing their final exams. This is one group not short on talent. One student recently returned from Tennessee, having competed for a coveted music scholarship. So the standards are high and the energy even more so. Plus, the event is free and takes place in the lovely outdoor amphitheatre.

CHECK OUT THE MITCHELL’S PLAIN MUSIC ACADEMY
The Mitchell’s Plain Music Academy (MPMA) is a part-time music programme established in 2014 to provide affordable, quality music tuition to students. There are currently 170 students enrolled across Mitchell’s Plain and Kraaifontein, of which 60 will be showcasing their talents, at the V&A.

Please note: Parking closest to the venue is the Victoria Wharf Parking Garage.
