If you’re anything like us, you’ve been slacking on that treadmill at the gym, it’s winter so who cares right? Well it’s not going to be winter much longer, and you need to make inroads on that summer body. So, why don’t you take this chance to collect your zen and revive your fitness at the Greyton Trail & Yoga weekend retreat with Off The Couch Co. and Greyton EcoLodge.
Happening on 19 July, it’s a weekend loaded with activities that will get you outdoors, exploring, meeting new people, and enjoying nutritious food.
ACTIVITIES
You’re able to choose an activity that tickles your fancy. There’ll be short and long trail run options and yoga sessions, talks on running and nutrition, superfood cooking demos, and an opportunity to explore other activities in and around Greyton (you’ll have to pay extra for these). R50 from each ticket will go to the Greyton Farm Animal Sanctuary.

VENUE AND ACCOMMODATION
The Greyton EcoLodge is a lodge placed at the foothills of Riviersonderend Mountains. It has two sets of rooms, twin/double rooms and dorm rooms. Twin/double rooms have twin/double beds for sharing, while dorm rooms have single beds.
Bathrooms are available as shared spaces. There are camping options available but people who wish to make use of this option must bring their own tent, mattress and bedding.
FOOD AND DRINKS
There will be food and drinks available for the entire duration of this weekend adventure. All food will be plant-based, nutritious and inclusive of all dietary requirements. The South African Vegan Cookbook author, Leozette Roode is in charge of the menu. There’ll also be a variety of non-alcoholic drinks that will be provided but attendees are encouraged to bring additional drinks of their own.
