There's more new stock of Volkswagen’s T-Roc, the last in the family of VW SUVs, at Barons Cape Town, now at the V&A Waterfront.
The T-Roc is a handsome vehicle, a bit more muscular than the Golf and T-Cross, and possesses the best of all the SUV features.
Top Gear calls it the “beefy looking tall Golf,” in its review of the T-Roc.
It’s similar in size to the Golf, just taller and with more space in the boot. It’s also slightly larger than the T-Cross, and although it's a bit shorter than the Tiguan, it looks like it’s got heft when you see it.
The T-Cross completes the whole VW SUV range. “Tiguan is known as the family SUV and T-Cross is the city driving car,” explains Barons Cape Town VW’s Tasliem Marlie.
Tasliem is most excited about the T-Roc’s competitive price point – it starts at R489 400 and goes up to R593 600 – and that the car’s cool features come standard when compared to competitor brands in the same bracket.
You can get the basic models from Barons: the entry level T-ROC Design 1.4 TSI and the 2-litre high performance with all the trimmings.
There are limited numbers available at Barons Cape Town VW, now at V&A Waterfront.
You can sleep, eat and relax in VW’s new California Coast Caravelle.
