One Whole Weekend Of Delicious Latin Vibes This September

Salsa, Kizomba and party until the sun rises with the Mother City Dance Festival

Mother City Salsa, Salsation SA, and Evolution Dance Company SA are banding together to present the Mother City Dance Festival this September. From workshops to boot camps, this fiesta gives a taste of all genres of Latin-inspired dance.

HELL-TO-THE-YES!
Acclaimed instructors and performers are dancing their way into Cape Town, bringing with them the skills and experience that'll elevate the Capetonian dance community to higher levels. Join the festivities for back-to-back fun, learning and, of course, dancing. You can find the schedule on the Mother City Dance Festival's official website.

MUY CALIENTE, AMIGOS
The line-up is hotter than Cape Town summers. Come watch dancers like De'Jon and Clo, Erika Saucillo, and Patricia Cardoso strut their stuff on the stage. Learn from pros like Leonardo Osorio and Leigh Nathan. Jam to the spicy tunes of Edwin Riviera, Alice Lee, Marcos Edson, and the General. These DJs will ensure around-the-clock Latin and Salsa-inspired beats so that patrons never have a still-standing moment.

WORK HARD; PLAY HARDER
You can expect to work as hard as you party. The festival includes a variety of dance classes, workshops, bootcamps and shows by world-renowned performers like solo-act Manuel Dos Santos, dance crew Imara, and Salsa sibling-duo Junior and Emily Alabi. Your reward? A party extravaganza: beach parties, pool parties, and an after-party that'll knock your dancing shoes off!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
There's a ticket for everyone: from full-weekend to party passes, take your pick! And be quick, because prices increase on 15 September. Dance your way to Park Inn by Radisson for a weekend of salsa, Kizomba, Bachata, and hot Latin music.
