Penny for a Laugh is a countrywide comedy tour that kicks off at the CTICC on Friday, 19 July 2019.
In aid of Penny Appeal, a charity that "takes small change and makes a big difference with it”, the show brings together a collection of local, laugh-out-loud comedians.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Hosted by funnyman Riaad Moosa, the show features an all-star cast including Conrad Koch (SA's top comedy ventriloquist) and his puppet, Chester Missing. Also bringing the laughs are comedians Chris Forrest, Farhan Esat, Mo Vawda, Ndumiso Lindi, Sifiso Nene, Simmi Areff, Tumi Morake and Annalakshmi.
The show is rated PG13, so leave the younger kids at home. The CTICC cash bar and refreshments will be available. There’s secure paid undercover parking with direct access to the venue, as well as on-street parking nearby.
