On the slopes of the mountain lies the spa’s 4-star Slanghoek Villas, with panoramic views of the Breedkloof valley. These 6-sleeper, four-star units consist of three bedrooms (each with their own veranda) and two bathrooms. There is air conditioning in the master bedroom and living area, a fireplace in the lounge, and a covered braai on the veranda – perfect for sundowners while taking in the view of the valley.

Goudini Spa’s eight conference centres can accommodate up to 800 people and they all vary in size and layout. The jewel of the resort is the stunning Slanghoek Conference Centre, which can seat up to 100 people and has its own restaurant and bar. It’s also ideal for a wedding reception, and the centre is walking distance from the Slanghoek Villas, so guests or delegates can stay the night and take advantage of the resort’s facilities. The conference centre has its own private hot pool and a spectacular view of the valley.

This peaceful resort just an hour’s drive from Cape Town offers a variety of self-catering accommodation suited to all budgets (from rondavels to villas), with 185 units to choose from (2–6 sleepers). All units are fully equipped, including braai facilities, DSTV and kitchen utensils. They also offer day camping and can accommodate around 25 families.

There are five hot pools (one with a winding water slide), which are filled with natural spring water and are naturally heated between 23 °C and 38 °C. When you’re not taking a dip, there are hiking trails, a tennis court, putt-putt and a holiday entertainment programme (among other activities) to keep everyone amused.
