Veteran artist Dylan Lewis has over 60 artworks in this one-of-a-kind sculpture garden

Animals, humans and fragmented forms, veteran artist Dylan Lewis has over 60 artworks in this one-of-a-kind sculpture garden.

Experience the magic of this garden in Paradyskloof, and top it off with wine and lunch on Saturday 25 May 2019.

A GARDEN OF ART
Less than an hour’s drive from Cape Town, down a private road near Stellenbosch, this art-lovers paradise showcases Lewis’ development as an artist throughout his career. Big cats, shamanic figures, male forms and female torso are laid out in harmony with the land along 4km of footpaths and among various indigenous plant species.

SPECIAL TOUR AND LUNCH
The tour is from 10am to 12pm and there’ll be the option to enjoy lunch afterwards. The lunch menu includes a variety of soups, bread, cheese and biscuits, with De Meye wine and ended off with coffee or tea and brownies.

WHO IS DYLAN LEWIS?
Lewis studied art in 1982 at Cape Technikon (now CPUT) and furthered his painting studies under legendary SA Artist Ryno Swart.

His work has been exhibited in the UK, America and Canada and in 1995 he represented South Africa at the “Artist for Nature Expedition” in Alaska.

Lewis bought a farm in 1993 where he now has the sculpture garden, his studio and a pavilion that hosts exhibitions by his favourite artists.

TICKETS TO THE DYLAN LEWIS GARDEN TOUR
Tickets cost R700pp including lunch and R350pp for the tour alone before 15 May 2019, thereafter they’ll cost R950pp and R475pp.
