Keep the monday blues from setting in with Sunday Fundays at A Touch of Madness. You can get a free beer with any burger from only R68 all day, as well as two-for-one tequila all day!
Sit down with a burger and a beer in any of the two outdoor areas and soak up the last hours of the weekend, or sit back and relax in the bar area or lounge while catching up on sport or with with friends.
The environmentally-friendly spot offers only local beer - a selection of 12 craft beers to be exact. They also make their own craft beer called Drunken Donkey, which owner Richard Andrews describes as a ‘summer ale with low bitterness and a fruity aroma’.
There’s also good news for vegetarians and vegans; A Touch of Madness has an exceptional veggie burger made with beetroot, chickpeas and mushroom, topped with caramelised onions and melted cheese. There is also a vegan-friendly option.
All burgers are served on a bun with lettuce, tomato, gherkin, and a choice of hand-cut fries & aioli, or fresh garden salad.
You can choose between the following burgers on the menu:
Sunrise Chicken Burger R85
A tender chicken breast marinated in homemade tequila & lemon sauce, topped with fresh rocket & avo.
Veg Burger R68
A chickpea, beetroot, spinach and mushroom patty, which is also vegan-friendly.
150g Beef Burger R72
150g Ostrich Burger R85
Add a burger topping:
Cheese Burger: red wine, caramelised onions and melted cheese R15
Chilli Popper Burger: cheese, crispy bacon and oven-roasted Jalapenos R15
Avo Burger: bacon, avo, crema and rocket R15
A Touch of Madness is open on Sundays from 12 noon - 6pm (kitchen closes at 5pm).
