Draughts for R25, R39 Cocktails Every Friday at Moyo Blouberg
You, a couple friends, sitting at the Corona surfboard tables with your feet in the water, enjoying that awesome view
A Mozambican R&R made with Tipo Tinto rum and raspberry. A coco-pine Pina Colada with Bacardi. A Long Island, Mojito, Cosmo and more Moyo cocktails at R39 (normally around R79). Or have any 500ml local draught beer for R25.
The best part? These Friday drink specials are at moyo Blouberg at Eden on The Bay, which means you and your friends can come and share them at the all-new Corona deck where the live DJ’s playing (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays). Or, kick off your shoes and chill in the shade at a Corona surfboard table with your feet dangling in the shallow pool.
MOYO FRIDAY DRINK SPECIALS
Every Friday for a generous six hours, from 12pm to 6pm, all local draughts (Castle, Castle Lite, Black Label) are R25 and seven cocktails from the Classic-E Moyo menu are R39. We discovered this moyo restaurant recently, and our team was pleasantly surprised.
Being in Blouberg, people living in town itself might not have thought to come out here for lunch or after-work drinks. But we discovered that, if you haven’t done so yet, it’s an absolute must-visit.
NEW VIBE, NEW AFRICAN FOOD MENU
Soweto-style chicken wings. Crocodile tail pie with pineapple-orange chilli salsa. Peri-peri chicken liver bunny chow. There are so many fresh things on the menu if you feel like having bite. Or just opt for a dessert: The red velvet beetroot cheesecake is new on the menu, and ideal for sharing with a friend.
And the decor’s worth checking out, too. You might remember that Moyo restaurant used to have that traditional African look – mostly shades of earthy brown and wood. moyo Blouberg is one of the first to showcase an all-new urban African Moyo style, featuring a wrought-iron Red Bull bar, loads of vibrant colours, different decks and seating areas, and a tech-free kiddies play area (so feel free to bring the little ones along). There’s something new to discover in every nook and cranny at moyo Eden on The Bay.
See you there on Friday.
TIP: It’s well worth popping in on a Monday for moyo’s half-price burger special.
PLUS: Pop in over the weekend (Saturdays and Sundays) when they have a breakfast buffet with bottomless tea or coffee for R150 and R65 for kids under 12 – children under 5 eat free.
