It’s Tuesday night. You’re bored at home, and want to do something other than dinner with your friends. Well…Get ready to laugh out loud at Comedy on Kloof. Every week, Vortex Shisha hosts a comedy night, showcasing popular and rising comedians (some that you haven’t even discovered yet). Plus, it’s budget- and queer-friendly.

PLAN YOUR NEXT FRIENDS OUTING

Every Tuesday, enjoy a cheeky midweek outing with a laugh and a drink. Shisha Vortex has loads to offer, from their open-space design to their neon signs. On the menu try a Kasi platter for food or an Apricot Rum Bull for a drink, and of course there’s lots of shisha flavours to choose from.

Comedy on Kloof boasts talent in all forms, often a blend of rising talent and old favourites. You could be treated to a host of names on any given night, like Stuart Taylor, Kate Pinchuck, Nik Rabinowitz, Yaseen Barnes, Mel Jones or Cassidy Nicholson. Be on the lookout on their social pages for their weekly lineup.

ENJOY A QUEER-FRIENDLY SPACE FOR ALL 

Comedy on Kloof was started by three women, and proudly promotes being a queer-friendly space aiming to spotlight female-led comedy. If you’re looking for a safe space to have a night out, this one’s for you. Who doesn’t want comedy with both a good price and great talent.
